Saddle Fitting
Skylands Saddlery provides saddle fit evaluations and fitting/shopping appointments that can be tailored for each client’s individual needs.
Kara Somerville, our certified Saddlefit 4 Life® fitter, is available for on-site appointments at your barn, or you may trailer-in to our designated farm. As an FEI dressage rider and professional trainer with more than 20 years of riding and competing in dressage, Kara knows the importance of perfect saddle fit. She brings her extensive understanding of horse-and-rider biomechanics to her work as a professional saddle fitter. If you are too far away for an on-site appointment, we can adjust your saddle remotely. See below for instructions on how to ship it to us with photos of your horse and wither tracing.
